A Bit of Vocaloid Jargon Explained

I was looking for blog post ideas for today, and I decided to look at my old Vocaloid Doc. First, wow, I have improved so much at writing since I last edited that. Second, most of the sections have been posted on my blog already- except the Glossary. That just defined a bit of Vocaloid jargon that I was confused about when I first joined the fandom. I decided to define it for the readers of this blog as well. Enjoy.
Fanloid/Derivative: The official description on the wiki is this: "FANLOID (commonly abbreviated from Fanmade Vocaloid) are VOCALOID inspired characters, created by the Vocaloid fandom." These can range from IO to Yowane Haku to Shiteyan'yo. Here's a Wiki page explaining them.
MMD: Standing for MikuMikuDance, MMD is a 3D modeling program specifically focusing on creating music videos for Vocaloid songs (although they're sometimes used for talkloids as well). There are a ton of models of different Vocaloids (and even some of characters from other related software) that can be used. It's quite prone to hair and cloth craziness, and stiff movements, but 2mk and 朱小智 are still quite good at using it. Here are some miscellaneous examples: 1 2 FanclubSoloChikatto Chika-CHIKADancinUnknown Mother-GooseSpiCa.
Project Diva: A rhythm game, developed by Sega, which features Vocaloid music. There are a ton of different versions that I don't feel like explaining here, so I have a video: [AtH] VX6 History of the Vocaloids EXTRA 6 - Project DIVA games. I also have a gameplay example.
Talkloid: Using the Vocaloid software for talking. It's often used for silly little "conversations" between Vocaloids, like these: Luka Can't Speak English, sasara and eleanor go to mcdonalds, The most inelligable talkloid, If you were a star..., Multilingual!, and Welcome, Eleanor Forte. It can also be part of a song, like this one: 1 2 Fanclub (I know that's not the original but it's kyaami and our babies Hime and Mikoto so there). It's different from any additional software which allows talking, of which there are several.
Tuning: This normally refers to the act of mixing the voice with BGM or calibrating a voicebank using tools within the software. But generally, in both cases, the broad definition is that tuning is how well or how skilled the producer has been at using the Vocaloid voice, resulting in the Vocaloid sounding good. Most of the time, this means achieving a more realistic and expressive voice, but some Producers, like Jade S. for example, deliberately go for a robotic effect instead. It's all relative. (Credit to Angel Emfrbl for the bulk of this definition.
VSQ/VSQx: The file extension for Vocaloid data, like .mp3 for music, or .png for pictures. V1 used a modified version of MIDI, VSQ is for V2-V3, VSQx is for V4, and VPR is for V5. UST is the same thing for the program UTAU.
